Dang Hayes you missed your calling you take some pretty good photos. My last job was Chief Photographer at my local newspaper appreciate good photography. There are other forum members that are pretty good too.

Sitting here waiting for the town plow to finish filling in my driveway… Our shift start time was pushed out from 0530 to 0800 due to blizzard conditions. It’s supposed to let up around 0600. I hope so, cuz it’s still really murky out there from what I can see. The neighbor boys are pulling out the blowers. Shaping up to be an interesting day..

Had my first cup and breakfast. Husky has been fed and is outside. I think she knows snow is coming. Will take her for the first walk soon. Hopefully we will get snow as Maggie really enjoys playing in it even at 8 years old. No plans today because of the weather.

Yesterday low was 66 and 83 in afternoon.
Today low is 32 with wind chill of 23

Just realized I had the date set wrong. Fixed it.

Horses are frisky this morning, or as frisky as 27 year old horses can get, they know cold is coming. Ducks stopping off at the lake overnight on their way south. I need to lay in some more firewood and plug in heat lamps in pump houses.

We got a good dusting of snow last night. It will continue today and tomorrow. This is not a big storm but it's pretty cold and windy. Just one errand to the bank today and then I'll refill the bird feeders so I feel useful.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful… 27 degrees this morn. Cooked up some Beef Stroganoff for Christmas, then had some Copper River Salmon over the weekend. Finished it off this morning with a little rice and soft boiled eggs. Went to shoot yesterday after church but it was so friggin cold we called it, went home and took a nice long nap instead.

just did a couple of errands...its actually around 48 degrees right now, but cloudy, and misty and rain later...much of that (varied amount) of snow we got friday/saturday, is melting away.
