i got like 75, yes 75 calls from Chase bank......i do not have a chase bank account...

apparently someone is trying to open an account in my name....

how did they get my name..??

from the "dark web"

last year, my state's computer system was breeched/hacked.

my name was in that breech, due to my injury and applied for health benefits under workman's comp

so now my name is "out there"

thru the vendor for the state, one that has given my state problems IN THE PAST, and yet the goobener renewed thier contract :mad: :mad:...they (the vendor) are paying for fraud alerts on everyone's credit..

but since now i got those 75 yes 75 calls from chase bank, i just now went to all 3 credit bureaus' and placed a freeze on my credit files...

my wife is in the clear, she always was...

funny, now my phone has been silent for like 15 minutes now............HHmmmmm.......fast acting credit freeze..???

what bullshite hackers can do to a company that has all our information

what bullshite companies DON'T DO to protect our files.......

picked up the beast his late morning
spent about 30 minutes going over the work
then they detailed it and i drank more coffee, and more coffee
then i drove it home like i was on a rocket to mars
did a number of 0 to 85 hard runs then a few 0 to 75 normal runs, one time i saw 99 flash in the speedo
passing a truck...
manually selected gears up and down to see what broke
so far so good
she goes in friday for the recall on the front hub but that is my local dealer....

I thought that Ford 6.7 Powerstrokes had a speed limiter built into them? My buddy has a F-250 with the 6.7 and he can't get it to go up to 100.

that guy called me so many times, it just sucks..his voice was the same, but yet, each time he called, it would be a different number and area code...??

well, after i posted the above, i was helping the wife fold the sheets....then took my nap.

the phone rang at least 3 more different times..this was a wee bit after 1PM

on the 3rd cal, i answered..

he asked if i was XXXX, and i said who is calling...he did not give his name, like many times before.

i told him, "look i know your game, and i had already called all 3 credit bureaus and put a freeze on my credit, i am on to you, and i got ALL the numbers YOU USED to call me, now F -OFF....."

phone has been silent since just after 1 PM......

now if the guy was legit, why all the different area codes and phone numbers????

i dunno, but thanks to my state's vendor that handles all sorts of state programs, that got hacked and blackmailed, we all (about 800, 000 of us) have to deal with this shite, and my DUMBASS GOOBENER re-signed another contract with those fools...???

well sure of course, our Goobener is as much a fool too......

I used to blow by my buddy who has a 2017 F250 all the time in my last truck, which had a 5.9 Cummins. I did 120 in that truck 5 days a week leaving from where I used to work. His truck limited out at around a 100, maybe a little more. I've done 110 in my current 6.7 Cummins, but didn't want to chance going any faster because of where I was. I know it has more in it, but never had the chance to find out what it can really do. I put over a quarter million miles on my old truck before getting my current truck. The best thing I ever did for the current truck was delete the emissions junk. I'd love to see what it's really capable of doing.
 
Up at 4 instead of 3 two days in a row. Mostly through the news and stopped in here. We're supposed to go get a replacement tree today. The weather report has a high rain percentage though. The back yard was like a blank canvass and we planted 4 trees and 3 shrubs to liven it up. A redbud had a terrible shape and never took off like the other, so It's time to admit defeat and replace it. The next year we added a 16 x 22 ft. patio addition with pavers and 22 tons of rock. The grass was sparce, but flourished with rain during the summer monsoons and our dog would track in debris year round. We also had stickers of some sort that would get in her fur that would take effort to remove. It is much easier to care for the yard, we don't need to de-sticker the dog and house stays cleaner.
 
i just came back from going out, and paying the water bill, and gassing up my car, wife's was done yesterday..

then i helped the wife clean the stove top.

she bought those Mr. Clean "eraser" sponges..???

seems to actually work quite well too.

i only did the stove top, she cleaned the oven the other day.
