What are you doing right now??

Watching John Wick Chapter 4 (on "E") which has finally reached the cable/satellite play circut, likely due to the release of the "Ballerina" on June 5th. Until now Chapters 1-3 (extended versions) have been the only ones on the circut.

Looks like it's also an extended version like 1-3, which I hope will make it better that the theatre release since I thought that was choppy & poorly editted.
The extended version "flows" much better than the theatre release.

I think the Berlin "Goldtooth" scene was pretty weak in the whole scheme of the movie.

I still think the outdoor stairway scene was overdone and should have been shortened.

I could easily see @Bassbob going to town with the bad guys, as JW did, in the overhead "Dragonfire" shotgun scene. ;)

Over all the extended version of JW4 is better than the theatre release but I think it is the weakest one compared to JW1-3.

We'll see how JW5 turns out, and looking forward to the "Ballerina"

Been a heckuva afternoon, storm came through and wreaked havok on everything. lot of power out around. still have mine. so i decide to go check out the new gun range and wade through the water to kill some paper. took the son in law.

About 200 yards from the range there lies this huge oak laying across the road to keep us from getting there. wind musta got really bad there this morning. welp so much for chootin, so i back up in to turn around and have to get in a very sloppy mudhole, Meh, no sweat i have 4 wheel drive and 35 inch nitto mud grapplers. so i get into this sticky mud and it fills all the grooves and truck weighs 8000 pounds and it ain't movin. so i look at the son in law with confidence and say we bout to get unstuck.

well fan my doggie britches, the shifter that operates the transaxle case moves like greased lightening. no resistance or popping into gear. so i look at him and say were screwed. way i figured it is the linkage broke or least i was hopin.

So luckily there is several oak trees not far from us to hook the winch on, pulled us out to a better grip and took off for home. happen to look at the fuel gauge and holy crap this sucker is gonna be runnin on diesel fumes by the time we get home.

We made it, i left a crease in my seat from by butt puckerin up tryin to get home, also wondering was i going to be out a fortune or a small bit to fix linkage. so i crawled under it when i got home and found the linkage rod laying on top of the exhaust.

The keepers on both ends were gone and it came off. never had that happen before. so now i have to go find the keepers and grommets tomorrow. won't take no time ti fix it if i find them.

then later i needed to go down the road to dollar store and low and behold everything around there had been without power since this morning. so didn't get what i needed. on a good note i may get some good firewood out of this tree.

Guess it could have been worse, coulda not had a winch and had to crawl under the truck in the mud and rig up something to get out. been there and done that many times. , tree coulda fell on the truck. guess it's all good.

No spare? And a plug kit can be good to have in vehicles....
I'm thinking it's just a slow leak. Problem is, I currently don't have a compressor (no garage where I'm living now), so I need to bum a ride to a gas station so I can fill my portable air tank. Then I can air up the tire, put soapy water on it & find the slow leak, then mark it for a patch job. Eventually I'm gonna get a DeWalt cordless compressor for these situations.
