What are you doing right now??

Just watched a 40-mile diameter T-storm cell come over with some good rain, some L-strikes, and cooling winds that knocked our temps down about 25 deg.

Was watching it slowly come up the valley all afternoon on the NWS radar feed.

It was a good one & gave us a really nice sunset.

We'll see if any of the strikes give us some fires the next 2-3 days since some can be sleepers before they start popping up some smoke.

Watching.. The Avengers: Infinity War

Good morning,

I had my alarm set for 5:30am but I tend to wake up early when I'm serving on the worship team at church. I just laid in bed and prayed for an hour until my alarm went off. I always look forward to making a joyful noise. After church today the music director and I will make more fun noises at the range. He's got a new-to-him pistol to try out, Sig Mosquito. ;)

Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Today is my dad's birthday and also my friend Bob who was murdered in East St. Louis in 2006. In a little while I'll go to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetary to pay my respects and then to my folks to celebrate dad's 85th.

Interestingly my dad is also named Bob and him, me and my friend Bob are/were all bass players. So today is definitely BassBob day around here.

Just loaded up the M&P 45 and will go to range and make some noise.
I just hauled my M&P45 out yesterday...forgot how much I like the feel of my M&Ps. Definitely needs more range time.

Last night would have been a beautiful night for a fire, but there was no wind and the humidity was so high...if you took a deep breath you'd likely drown. So we stayed in and watched Top Gun : Maverick. This morning the husband has things to do in town and he wants to mow the lawn, and he only has Sundays off so I better get cracking and make breakfast.

Me...laundry, might weed the garden if I can get in there without sinking to my ankles in mud. We're under a heat advisory until tonight so that should be fun.

If you want a very good real time radar app, get RadarScope, 9.99 in App Store and if you want more information, subscribe to Tier 1 option, I have this and it’s a great real time radar, just saying

Just got through cleaning the mess up, first was the sig fusion with the romeo sight, has three different recticles and green or red. i used the donut of death as Bob calls it in green. had to move it a little but stayed dead on after i got it. as usual 5 feet from me tree.

Now i sit this up on a table and aimed it at the target and waited for it to shoot itself, it never did so i had to pull the trigger.

Next was the RIA 22 mag, now if you remember one of these blew up in my face a while back and i took it back. well the gun feels good in my hand and it was the crappy ammo i had that done it cause one of them blew up in my christesen precision. i was shooting CCI this time and not a hiccup. the barrel was shooting all over for a little then settled down. i drifted the sight over to compensate but when it broke in good i needed to put it back where it was but i was out of ammo. it needs to go back to the left. i did drift it over but haven't tried it. next time. this gun has no recoil.

Now the stormtrooper RIA shotgun. had to move the dot some gun shot flawlessly but only shot it 20 times of 00 Buck. these things are a breeze to take apart. I imagined having one of those white hard suits on firing this. 😁 The big holes are the wad hitting it. i was 15 yards from it. i also put the full choke in it.
