What are you doing right now??

Need advice. Should I put a Holosun optic on the CC9? I have never used one on a carry gun but that might take care of the issue I am having. I know you guys use them. What do you think?
I have optics on my carry pistols. It’s something you will need to practice on. With most people you can’t just pick it up like a on a rifle. I would recommend shooting/renting a pistol with one on it first. But once you get used to it they are a quick sight sight picture and easy to use with both eyes open.

I sad why not and will be ordering a red dirt trigger for my prodigy. This has become my favorite pistol to shoot. Now I’m researching what red dot I want to go with for this thing.

Definitely became my default. The level of adjustability is spectacular, as is getting the right length trigger shoe for my hands/grip.

Dots are so much personal preference... and depends on if it's range, carry or competition. Generally, spend more get more, but what used to be garbage brands are perfectly functional for range and competition guns now. Quality has stepped up quite a bit (Swampfox, Cyelee, etc.). For anything I would carry, Holosun would be the lowest I'd go, with a preference towards Vortex's Defender series and the actual RMR/SRO's from Trijicon.

I just got back from the range and changing the backstrap did help but I am still having issues with the sights. I can't say its because i'm old because this is the only one I am having issues with. So with that in mind if I don't want to get rid of the gun I have to put the optic on. It will be a Holosun but why the 507c compared to the 407c? It will be a green sight no matter what.
The 5s you have the doughnut of death reticle or just a dot at the press of the button. If you’ve never shot a handgun with a dot on it, you will definitely appreciate the doughnut of death reticle.

I have a the smaller Sig Romeo on my Cr920X a 507 on my MR920. I have the Vortex XL at the 12 o’clock on my LWRC. So I’m debating on closed or open emitter on this one. I hate trying to clean the lint and crap out of the inside of the lens with my big fingers.

Optic installed, grip coming Saturday. No eta on trigger
