gotta go to the market for the Mrs.

then i had planned on going to the club....taking that Bereta SS 92 SF


i went to the range yesterday, but stopped for a coffee and donut, and met an old buddy there, and after like an hour of yakking............well......i forgot about the range.......i got home and it's like WTF........i NEVER drive that far for a coffee and donut....dammit.....i didn't get to the range.!!!

raining a bit now, but supposed to stop soon.

can't do any painting due to the oncoming humidity.

heck, i rally don't wanna do anything today, after i get back from the club.

After the new services are installed. Main has been primered and is getting ready to be wrapped with green line. Which in conjunction with cathodic protection will keep it from rusting.

this work is pretty cool! Working in the elements what's worse, dead of summer or winter? both extremes I imagine have pretty high suxage but I'm thinking in the cold you have to do all this work with bulk clothing?
 
About to go to the fish market for some fresh local fish. Hoping to find some redfish or dolphinfish.

well, no target pics, so no report in the "A good day at the range" thread.

however just a "so-so" day at the club, i was not impressed with my shooting...i always seem to have an issue with both Beretta's 92 FS) as far as the sights.....they (to me) are too low, so as a result, i must hang the targets higher than usual on the target carrier....and then, it still seems that i have to have the front sight, slightly higher than the rear sight to actually get closer to center target....that might not makes sense how i explained that,

when targets are hung higher, i do way better, which is odd, cuz NO other gun i own, has this issue. and the Beretta sights are not adjustable for height.

so any way, took a ride to the large LGS, and bought 2 new magazine for my G-17, so now, i can load up a box of ammo and not stop to reload.

then i come home, take the range bag to the basement, and all the smoke alarms in my apartment were sounding off...wife said it was all quiet before i came home....

so up the step ladder to "reset" the would be trouble making alarm...then about 30 minutes later...??

yup, house is all noisey again.

i dunno, come monday, or tuesday, i will call the contractor and mouth off to them again.

it's sickening this is happening...

to me, its either the detectors are just failing, or a wiring issue in the entire house....and ALL the wiring for the detectors was installed brand new.

Takin a break after chootin .22’s, getting ready for the 9mm practice. At 40 yds., warming up on the big ones left to right then whites, then little black ones. Those youtubers don’t know chit. These SA Rimfires are darn good rifles for the money. Just change out the triggers and have fun on the cheap. Well back on task. Blessings!
