What are you doing right now??

Looks good, but that bacon needs some more fire. and what is the black round thing.
Americans often get confused with English bacon because all that pink stuff is actual meet, as opposed to the crispy strips of fat Americans eat. Who knew bacon had meat! The black round thing is black pudding. Black pudding, also known as blood pudding, is typically made from animal blood, usually pork, fat, and cereal grains such as oatmeal or barley. These ingredients are seasoned with spices and onion. It has a firm, slightly crumbly, and earthy flavor and is typically sliced and pan-fried or grilled. Mmmmm-mmmmm!

Just got back from our Bulgarian adventure. 25 hours travel time. Did take advantage of the layover at Heathrow to get in a traditional English Fry Up. Heinz Baked Beans, Cumberland Saisage, streaky bacon, garlic sautéed mushrooms, black pudding, scrambled eggs and a dollop of Daddie’s Sauce (a little bit like A1 sauce. And, if course, a nice cup of builders tea. This is in preparation for the absolutely dreadful fare that American serves on its international flights.

Greetings,

I played in church today and afterwards it was such a beautiful day I had to take a picture of the fields around the church.

This is not a great picture but here is our albino chipmunk standing on his throne of bricks next to Mrs. BassCliff's garden shed in the back yard.

Just in case you missed church today, feel free to listen in to our service today. That's me, the old bass guy in the back. We played three tunes up front and there's a special number at the end of the service too (about the 1:13 mark), complete with choreography. Fun stuff. Amen.

Now we're going to see the oldest granddaughter play a couple of volley ball matches. She joined a city youth league. We might just buy a season ticket.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Can’t do the blood sausage, which I assume is similar? First time i went to Argentina for work i went to a Barbecue and had some amazing food, but couldn’t stomach that.

Everything else looks good. Stayed at a bed and breakfast working in South Africa and had full English a bunch of times. Was good stuff

I had blood pudding when I was overseas in the 80s. I rather liked English food for the most part. Steak and kidney pie at a pub in the middle of nowhere. I loved it over there. I am sure things have changed drastically since then..
