Have been looking at a new firearm and think it will be the HK VP9A1 K. I still want to do more research as I do have some time before I can purchase. I would also like to get a 1911 in 9mm. Have not decided on brand yet. At least this will give me something to do as summer comes to a close.

Unfortunately, getting ready to sell off more firearms. Turned 80 a while back ,and wife has been bugging me to reduce their number. Usually Gunboards but some weird stuff on GunBroker. Hate to do it, but…

Yeah I'm 78 not in the best of health have been thinking about reducing my meager collection. Don't have anyone to leave them too and don't want my wife to deal with them when I'm gone. My LGS is soon closing their doors had a deal with them to buy some and sell others on consignment. Of course I'd like to keep them all but have to realistic.

many months ago, at my LGS, i eyed a S&W 1911 in 9mm..they had 2 in the display case...1 had fixed sights, the other had adjustables sights, and both were the same price....

i only "eyed" those 1911'a...in 9mm....

i love 1911's.......but in 45 ACP, no other caliber....

but "eyeing" those particular BEAUTIFUL SHINY S.S. 9mm 1911's....??

got up at 2 AM.....went back to bed...could not go back to sleep, so just laid there in bed till 4:30...

Nothing really planned today. Go get a haircut, pickup the Beretta APX i ordered last week from LGS and maybe cut the back grass. Its going to be another hot one today, well into the 90's.
