$1500 - $2000 is what it would cost for me and my buddy to replace the torque converter. I don't know what it would cost to buy a reconditioned transmission, new transmission or to have that one rebuilt, but I guarantee it is a lot more than that.

Thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case. My buddy could tell by the fluid that it has been serviced before. How long before is anyone's guess. The thing with the torque converters on these cars is well known. It could also have been the torque converter clutch. The fact that the friction fortifying lube we put in stopped the problem indicates it is a fluid problem, not a torque converter problem.

Forgot to mention that on the way home just a few miles from the house, we saw a dead Ocelot laying on the side of the road. It wasn't there when we drove the other way when heading to town for lunch with my kids. It's a shame, they are endangered around here, and such beautiful animals.

Just checking out yard after all the rain we had earlier. Boy we really needed the water. Looks like it will rain again tonight then back into the 80's again tomorrow. Grass is perking up and should look great for a few weeks before it dies for the winter. It has really been a long hot summer here.
 
Shot the P30L today and it’s love with an asterisk 😂. it shoots super smooth and it feels incredible in the hand, but the trigger is very different and will take some training to get used to. it’s the LEM trigger and so far with the little time I’ve been shooting I haven’t had anything with that long light take up. Will be a staple in range bag for a while because I really do enjoy that mofo

Then shot my 226 reserve and while i was on the fence thinking of selling, after shooting it heck no! It’s a bit pricy but man it is a secsay looking and shooting pistol!
