Watching tv as usual but wife has remote. I might as well go to sleep. Maggie taking her nap. Will get frost tonight so hopefully allergy season is done! Both the husky and me suffer from allergies. Still waiting to get shipment confirmation from GTdist. I guess I won't see the gun until next week. Also the Kiral Defense Glock grip adjusts will also be here next week for the G19. Thought about my sister more than usual today. She could be a real pistol! Wish I had more time with her. Guess i'll call it a night and hope everyone has a good evening.

that is if i recall, i also included a picture, what i had done to my G-17..

i took an extra backstrap that comes with the guns..i then cut one pretty much exactly like this one, all i needed to do was buy an extended pin from The Glock Store, maybe like about $15.00 with shipping. that debive, like the one i made up, fills in that gap that some need for a better grip...

my G-19 is no issue, due to the "shorter" grip length, that the G-17.

even though as i said above, mine is set at 4:30, but as said, at or about 4, i get up, forget about the alarm and well.....while in the bathroom, at the most inopportune time...buzz...buzz...buzz...and it never shuts off

wife lets me know it too.
 
Thanks for all the good intentions. She was advised to wait on getting partials until they are sure of remission. She will probably need more surgery to remove the excess skin flap they put in there too. The good news is her leg where they took her tibia from is healed up enough to get in the pool again. That made her smile and that there made my day 😃

Yep you need a long stemmed torx bit for the Holosun to clear the hood. Lowes have the Dewalt ones. I check my screws every time I go to the range because they can work loose. My base plate called for 25 in lbs torque and those screws are solid. Holosun calls for 15 in lbs and I don't think that's enough but I worry about over torqueing. I have not yet been willing to use red locktite
 
And wouldn't you know it, we finally decided to get our butts off the couch and order a pair of Sig SS P226 Xfives. Wife decided on the cocobolo grips Classic and me the black grips STA. Only to find no stock available for the blacks grips. Put in a request to be notified. Time is of the essence, hoping to get these before new legislation may possibly prohibit purchase. In the meantime, perhaps a new P226 xcarry legion?

Can't go wrong there if your flavor is 9mm. You are going to love those X5's.

Yeah dont know why holosun suggests 15lbs. Weak screws? The 507 on the FN 502 kept coming undone. Finally wrenched the hello out of it after blue loc tighting and setting for 48 hrs. That took care of it. Wife has a little knot on her head this morn. TG she had glasses on.
