What are you doing right now??

Hi,

How in the world are ya? :D

I hope @NMEDGE and @3L120 are feeling better soon, and @belladonna has an awesome day at work.

Mrs. BassCliff and I made it home safely last night after a 9 hour drive. With her help, I avoided crashing into any tractor-trailers and running off the road. Now it's "back to the grind", such as it is. Laundry last night, playing a gig today, vacuum this afternoon, maybe putting up lights tomorrow, another gig on Friday, maybe squeeze in a range trip on Thursday and pick up my new Sig.

Enjoy your blessings.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

just got back from the bank, after i deposited a check, from the LGS, for selling them my Beretta 92FS, S/S.

i still have the black one.

i will take that black one to the range later this week, maybe thursday, and some ammo.

if i get sucky results like i did from BOTH Beretta's..?...that i posted about a few weeks ago...??

this black one will get cleaned, and lubed and made to look purtty, and be sold as well.

Congrats KF. Hmm, Animal Science eh , I bet she'll be able to help you on your hunts. Maybe, just maybe, you'll finally get that deer with her help. 😬;)

went chootin this morning first was the S&W 44 mag, run everything suppressed. had to get the sight picture to hit center, after i found center i quit. far right is 44 mag and other two is 44 special.

Then took the suppressor off and changed mount for the Henry 357. it's 5/8 and S&W is 11/16, Hensry was hitting to the left and kinda wild so i took the suppressor off after about ten rounds. adjusted sight and it still wasn't shooting like the S&W. Center and right one is henry and the others are S&W again with 44 special. i had half a box left and wasn't taking it home. had to change mounts again

Ah shoot, i tried to do a cliff post but screwed up and ain't redoin it, i'll just say the smith 44 mag out shot both of them. Rossi was the worst, which wasn't aweful

I'm experiencing some weird arthritic pain in the second joint of middle fingers in both hands. If I make a fist have to pry the fingers back up. No snide remarks. (LOL)
Did more research on Trigger Finger. Obtained finger splints for use during sleeping and they seem to help some. Have an appointment with my Orthopedic surgeon for follow-up on my hip problem and will request steroid injections in the affected fingers. Based upon what I've read steroids are very effective for trigger finger.

I have this affecting fingers on both hands on occasion RC. I went to see a Orthopedic Surgeon who told me the affected finger tendons were binding up in the sheathes the tendons glide through. He gave me a shot(s) which didn't much help. He mentioned that other than shots, surgery was the next option. It usually happens to me when I clench something quickly, and at most, a mild to no pain sensation when pulling the finger(s) to straighten them back into normal position. Oddly, it's never happened when shooting, so at least to date, that's a good thing.
Good luck with your prognosis, I hope you get a positive resolution.

That was exactly what I had. First were the shots but didn't do anything. Then they did the operation in the sheathes. Trigger finger and the next two. Really don't remember being a painful operation. Had been good for a few years but now arthritis is affecting them. They do attribute it to being an aircraft mechanic and constantly using the hands. Now I have good days and not so good days. Unfortunately it's just a part of growing older I guess. Fingers don't lock up like they used to but sometimes they just hurt like hell. Hope the shots help you.

Glad the targets were up to snuff.😊😍🤠

Finally made up my mind and will carry the G19 for a spell. On those days that my back is bothering me I will carry a Smith Bodyguard 2.0 that I have had for a while. Carrying a 380 really doesn't bother me. I did sell the Hellcat and got $450 for it. I will wait for FN to let me know what the problem is. I did notify Freedom Munitions of the issue and they have sent me an email to get more info which I have sent to them. Now, they seem very concerned. It's not like I am hurting for firearms and this will give me some time to "look" around. I feel comfortable carrying a Glock as one did save my life a few years back.

Thanks BET7. So far don't think my shooting hasn't been affected and my only pain occurs when pushing the fingers back into place. My research lead me to think surgery would be needed if the steroid injections didn't work, hope not.
