What are you doing right now??

Thanks BET7. So far don't think my shooting hasn't been affected and my only pain occurs when pushing the fingers back into place. My research lead me to think surgery would be needed if the steroid injections didn't work, hope not.
My doc called it Trigger Finger and it was the third finger on the right hand. It took a year and a half of wearing a splint which you can buy on Amazon. Last August was when I stopped wearing the splint. Still have to be careful it can come back and I don't need another year of a splint. Both hands give me problems from racing scooters and fighting oh and a couple of dances with guys with knives. That damn splint really made writing look like a scribble. Only cortisone shot have had is for the arthritis in shoulders and hip but may have to get shots for wrist and thumb joints. Hope it gets better soon for you.

Thanks Oldmountainman. Have only been wearing the splints a short while don't know if they really help that much. For many years hunted and competed with heavy recoiling revolvers, break-open and bolt action type handguns in rifle calibers. Hoping the steroid injections work and don't need surgery.
