Scheduling an appliance repair.
Washing machine just took a 💩💩. 😡😡😡😡
Error codes say motor issue. Was full of clothes and stuck on spin cycle.

we still have the drier, which that too, is 30 years old, but needed a repair just after we bought the new washer.......this was only about 2 months ago for BOTH...!!

It's been a very eventful 24 hours. Survived the ride home yesterday. This morning was not fun - 40 mph on the interstate, but at least I could SEE THE ROAD! Woke up with a scratchy throat and thought, "well, I must have been real tired and was snoring", but NO... The husband came home after two and a half weeks away and he brought me a present...a head cold 😒. No word on my dad's condition today, so I presume we're still waiting for word from hospice.

I think I'll be spending Thanksgiving in my jammies, in front of the fireplace with a good book. 🙂

Do you order it from out of state, or is it local to you? My favorite jam of all time is a huckleberry jam that my friend gets for me when she visits her family in Coeur d'Alene. Which reminds me, I need to give her some cash before she leave for her Christmas visit.
Local to me.

It grows up in the hills here in MT & right next door in ID.

It's a lot of work to pick, and prices at the Farmer's Market's have gone thru the roof the last 5+ yrs to $80-90/gal.

The crop this year wasn't very good. I got enough on my own for some ice creams treats but not enough for a pie so I bought a pie locally. $50.

The Costco here sells MT huckleberry jam as a local product.

Whoa! $50 for a pie...but you know, if it's what you like, and you can afford it, more power to ya! I am the same way. The jam I like isn't cheap (and I bet it's more expensive this year), but I can afford it, so hey...Happy Holidays!

@belladonna

Considering the weather back there I'll bet you won't be having T-Day outside.

BTW I see my old haunts in/around Duluth/Superior got hammered by the storm. The harbor cams showed the "Lake" getting angry & dumps a lot of snow on the "Arrowhead" over to Ashland & the UP.

We're just getting grazed by the Vortex here thanks to the "Divide".
