What are you doing right now??

Whoa! $50 for a pie...but you know, if it's what you like, and you can afford it, more power to ya! I am the same way. The jam I like isn't cheap (and I bet it's more expensive this year), but I can afford it, so hey...Happy Holidays!
When you factor in either buying it at the Famer's Market, or the time & gas driving up into the hills enough times to get enough it's sort of a wash.

Hi,

I just finished a Tom Cruise movie called "Edge Of Tomorrow". It's a few years old but I hadn't seen it, a fun sci-fi romp that's a cross between "Groudhog Day" and "Tomorrow War". Now I'm watching an old western.

Not sure what we will do tomorrow since we are celebrating Thanksgiving at the kids' place on Saturday. I'll probably have a bowl of Raisin Bran.

Be thankful for all your blessings.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

That was a good movie and it wasn't even dirty.

Just came back from a walk with Maggie. Cool and windy with temps in high 30's. Actually feels like fall here. Working on second cup of coffee. Nothing special planned for today. Honestly just like any other day except will be having a great meal. Football will be on the tv today. Not much to do with family or friends. Most of family departed and friends seemed to move back to family as they got older. If I had a reason I would probably leave here also. But we are happy, have our health, and have a great pet. What more could a person ask for. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

helping the wife, by keeping out of her way...??

we go to our daughters home around noon time for the dinner.

daughters house has a huge wide open basement, almost like a dining hall

wife told me ALL the kids, grandkids and great grand kids will be there..

i hope the toilet works when i need it......!

Hi,

Gonna fire the mower up about 9 and mulch leaves until lunch, then fry up some bologna sammiches then back on the mower to finish.

I should do that but there's too much snow on the ground. We'll probably get six more inches on Saturday. I might have to wait 'til spring to do my final fall clean-up. The leaves dropped late this year and I didn't have a chance to finish before the snow fell.

If we get a warm spell and the snow melts enough, maybe I'll get a chance to finish. We'll see.

Thank you for your indulgence,

This very wintry in these parts today. It’s 20 degrees, clear and sunny with a breeze from the northwest. The husband and I were invited to the daughter’s boyfriend’s family farm for a large gathering of turkey and potluck, but we are staying home instead. When I woke up my head felt like it weighed 20 pounds and my sinuses feel like someone snuck in and ran a chimney sweep brush through them. The husband is not feeling much better, so we are keeping the germs home with us rather than spreading them around to the crowd.
Not sure what we’ll have for dinner…maybe pizza? 🤷‍♀️
