What are you doing right now??

Hi,

I just got word this morning that my friend in AZ passed away yesterday. We patrolled together and shared holidays and much more for over 25 years. All my LEO friends have been called home. All of them were younger than me,it's a hard pill to swallow. End of shift.

You have my sympathies, gratitude, and respect. Condolences to the family as well.

Cliff

Sorry to hear. I know the feeling, most of my service buddies are all gone, all my immediate family has died. I hate being the last one.

Sorry to hear of your friend's passing. It leaves an empty place. Every year, we are fewer.

I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I have lost many of my friends, guys I worked with at the airport and at the campus. It’s always hard. My condolences, friend.

Sun came out FINALLY and got to 57. i went chootin by golly. savage 22 mag sights needed bumping over and then i bumped it too far and then bingo. sucker made one hole. action is very smooth and worked perfect.

Now this savage piece of crap didn't feed 20 round mags, it wouldn't feed 10 round mags and many light strikes. took it apart when i got home and it needs a firing pin. looks to been dry fired many times. it also was bent. also the hammer feels kinda weak. probably been cocked for a long time in the box. mags are very hard to load. the loader that comes with them is a joke. now i need to figure out why it jams every round. it's like a bolt gun except gotta clear irt every round.

Hi,

After a short workout this morning I shoveled my driveway. I figured that would be enough exercise for today.

This stuff was no fun. Last night, along with the snow, was a little sleet and freezing rain. They call it a "wintery mix" and it is heavy. I'm glad it was only 2 or 3 inches. It's good that I salted the day before. It made cleanup a little easier.

Once I got warmed up I started having fun. I decided to go ahead and shovel the neighbor's across the street. She's a sweet old lady in her 80s with a disabled daughter living at home. I saw her shoveling the other day and didn't want her struggling with this mess. She has a son that comes over on the weekends but I didn't want her to wait that long for a clean driveway.

Now, after taking ibuprofen, I'm having coffee and will soon get ready for a gig this evening. We're putting on a Christmas show for the seasoned citizens at a local retirement home. I love spreading the love and joy. Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Coffee on board and dogs fed. Horses a little later, it is cold out there. Posse is coming to my range this morning to shoot pistol drills in the coolness then lunch somewhere. Baltic Birch plywood for a set of cabinets for daughter's media room being delivered Friday or Monday, I'm gonna be busy next week.
Shot up my plus-P Critical Duty carry ammo today and replaced with new. Man that stuff has some PUNCH in the 1911 TRP CC AOS, as compared to the 230 grain ball I have been shooting.
