Had 14 staying at a VRBO for daughters graduation. I catered that. All the men decided we were taking a time put from cooking/grilling and hang with our family.
We were contemplating grilling and poured some drinks and picked up the phone.

Up at my usual time having a cup. Prepared the morning food for Maggie. I know it's crazy but I just love her. She has been the sweetest dog we have ever had. Wife and I will be going to pistachio farm today to pick up some goodies for the holiday.

Aunt Bee is 6 years old today, roughly. She was a slightly older puppy when the wife and I got her. The older woman who gave her to us just couldn't care for and keep up with the demands of an active dog. We knew the year and birth month of Aunt Bee, just not the actual day. All her paperwork showed was birth year and month. The woman was very sad and emotional about having to give her up, and after a few days when we realized we didn't know her "exact" birthday, it was decided that it probably wouldn't be a good idea to contact the lady and make her sad all over again. So, we decided the middle of December, the 15th, would be Aunt Bee's birthday. She'll get extra love and attention today, plus a lot of treats!
