What are you doing right now??

Breakfast is 5 count whop biscuits -- 3 with red plum jelly, 2 for bologna lunch, 4 pieces sausage and a cup of cranberry juice -- after my pot of coffee.

Been up for a while. The husband left for work at 4AM, and I had a restless night...very weird dreams. Anyway, I was going to hit the range today, as I didn't get a chance to yesterday. The husband and I went to town and ran some errands, and he never wants to go shooting with me anyway . I was going to go today but.......we're in ANOTHER winter weather advisory. It's actually above zero degrees before noon today, but with that comes the 40 knot winds from the south and a blob of 💩(snow actually but lately...). I don't feel like driving home in a white out so I think I'll just hang out here and get some house stuff done. Maybe I'll break out the MantisX.

Got a call from the organization that ran the raffle that I won the prize from. They just needed to verify my mailing address and contact info so they can send me the certificate I need to claim my shotgun. They are mailing them out on Monday (from Fargo) and I should get it next week. Once I get it I have to take it to Scheels, the main store in Fargo, to claim my prize. Unfortunately I have to jump through a couple of flaming hoops because I live in Minnesota. They will have me fill out the paperwork there, and then they have to transport the gun to the Scheels store in Moorhead. They don't sell firearms at that store but act as FFL for MN residents who buy them from the ND store. They usually get the firearm to the MN location the same day, but still...it would be so much simpler if I lived in ND 😒.

Ah well, I suppose I should put some clothes on and get something done (don't be letting your minds wander...I'm in my PJs :ROFLMAO:). I'm just feeling lazy today.

Hi gang!

How in the world are ya? I slept in today, 'til 9am, and got coffee started late. I'm gonna have a couple of cups in the middle of the day anyway just because I like it. Plus I'll be playing in church for the Saturday night service and I think it's easier for the Spirit to move if I'm well-caffeinated. ;)

We've warmed up to 21°. I think I'll put on a pair of shorts so I don't overheat. Just kidding. My legs are so white they actually glow phosphorescent. They scare old ladies and young children.

Um, sorry for that mental image.

Mrs. BassCliff is looking forward to our date tomorrow evening. We've going to the Improv to see one of our favorite comedians, Jeff Allen. His bits are clean and just good fun. He's so popular that they've added a matinee show. Pretty cool.

Know that all of you are in my prayers, safety from the weather, family issues, physical healing, etc, and enjoy your blessings.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Watching the Dakar, the toughest to race are, without question, the bikes. Those riders are amazing. SSVs are fun to watch I doubt I could keep up in my 1000 Rzr Pro. They have some really strange rock formations over there.
I love that DAKAR race as it is the most dangerous race of its kind in the world. Not to say other races do not have its danger as well.
They have different types of vehicle classes.
