I've been watching " The Texan " most of the afternoon. Still like the old westerns.

Rory Calhoun was terrific. I also enjoy Randolph Scott, Audy Murphy, along with Clint and The Duke. I usually workout to "The Rifleman" in the morning.

But right now Mrs. BassCliff and I are enjoying a nice baking competition. I'll be going horizontal soon. I must be up early to make music in church tomorrow. Blessings to all.

Having a cup and taking care of the husky. First day of the month so heart worm pill today and flea and tick med tomorrow. Not too cold outside so will go for a walk around 6am. It's going to be a nice day so might wash one of the cars later this morning.

Well, the Birmingham area starting with 18° with expected high of 36° -- think I'll hunker down AGAIN.

13 degrees! It's chilly but the forecast is looking better, 30 and 40 degrees next week!

I just finished feeding horses and broke 2 inches of ice out of their water fountain. Horses are so expressive. This morning the message was, "WTF?"

Stretched out in the recliner. Just fell on this stinkin ice. Feet came out from under me and landed on my hip hard. Back hurtin a little. Just hope i didnt jarr a kidney stone loose. I sure dont need that right now

Washed my car and then put gas in both of them. Gas seems to be the cheapest here on Sundays.

Character actors are always appreciated as well. There are many, but Jack Elam was one of my favorites. Can't recall the spaghetti western, but the long scene where he sat at an empty RR station trying to get a fly off his face...good stuff.

character actors get more work than the "big stars" do but they do not get paid the millions either.

they keep busy, with one or maybe 5 lines of dialogue, and a quick exit. i have liked many, Richard Farnsworth for one..

too many to name, that i have seen over and over again, which sadly can be why thier names are way down the list of credits, or no mention at all.

Washed my car and then put gas in both of them. Gas seems to be the cheapest here on Sundays.

Most every one of our gas stations match one another for the same price. Only one is a better deal. Their lowest price gas is 87 octane, while all the others are only 85. Most newer cars recommend at least 87. My Nissan Frontier takes 89.
I feed my Harley clear premium. They take me to the cleaners on that stuff.

Was 26 degrees when I got up this morning....A HEAT WAVE!!!!! It has since dropped to 18 and it's snowing. The wind picked up last night and blew in a drift at the end of the road. Got socked in pretty good...the town plow even came around. Of course last week the husband took the tractor in for work on the hydraulics, so we're without the blower. Thank goodness for great neighbors though.
