The husky and I went for the afternoon walk. She knows i'm hurting so she wasn't really crazy. Beautiful here at 71 degrees. Our winter might be over here.

I really miss being able to walk my dogs. Because of my back condition, I can't walk more than a couple hundred yards without severe pain. I'm hoping my cancelled back surgery can be re-scheduled and done by the end of this year.

Just finished, using Sous Vide, to cook this relatively cheap ($7.49lb)center cut 22oz sirloin steak. Cooked it for four hours to get it to 138 degrees medium. Came out very good, tender & juicy.

Raining and warm. The catfish in the lake are singing, raising a ruckus we can hear in the house. Nothing noisier than a bunch of horny catfish!

Grandddaughter transport, then into the shop to catch up on projects that were neglected when it was so cold. So many projects, so little time. My oldest granddaughter now wants a coffe table and hutch, it is so good to feel needed by the youngsters.

They make noise by rubbing their gill plates together. When they all get going it is impressive.

Went to range this morning with the Walther. 150 rounds thru it with no issues. Next time is another 150 rounds and self defense ammo. This is really a comfortable gun to shoot. Came back and took Maggie for another walk. Went out back and pulled some crabgrass. It's everywhere and I don't want to put anything down that will affect the husky. Guess I am stuck with it. Also had to cut the grass, it's starting to turn green and grow pretty early this year. Tree pollen is already affecting us all. That is also early and bad this year. Guess it will be a long hot summer. Oh, I also had to put on short pants, it's in the 70's.
