What are you doing right now??

Been up for a while. The husband had to take the smaller diesel into Fargo for an oil change. I have too much to do here. I had to work a mandatory OT shift yesterday and that threw a monkey wrench into what I had originally planned 😒. I thought that slavery had been abolished, but yet...here we are.

Everything hurt when I opened my eyes this morning so I have been moving slow. Housework and laundry are the only things on the agenda. It's only 30 degrees at the present moment, and it "feels like" 18 with the northwest wind at 19, so no outside work this weekend. Maybe I'll get creative with dinner today 😎.

I really want this. POF PSG22

Hi,

Well, all my big yardwork plans did not work out. It's too wet and cold. I did not rent the big lawn aerator. I did not spread any weed and feed. I did not plant any new grass starter. I did get to dig a couple of holes in the back yard so Mrs. BassCliff can plant some new decorative flora.

But the big news is that the basement developed some issues overnight from all the recent rains.

Thankfully we're not flooded. The sump pump was dry but it seems the drain tile may have an issue. Every crack in the basement floor is seeping water, some worse than others. There are a couple of wet carpet spots in the finished part of the basement. We've got our work cut out for us. I gotta guy coming Monday for evaluation and estimate. I might get two or three opinions/estimates, depending on who calls me back. As the flood waters recede this seepage should end, hopefully tomorrow. At least tomorrow I'll get to play music in church and give praise and thanks to God for all my blessings. Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
