Enjoying a well deserved vodka lemonade after spending 5 hours on the zero turn mower, and another couple of hours cleaning it up and putting lawn equipment back in the garage. I didn't realize that it was even Friday. Hence the strong drink now.

Got all the dog walks in before the heat. Did all the errands, got my haircut and did some reading. We have winds again! Must have also rained just enough last night so white car looks brown with dirt all over it, I just cleaned it the other day!

Got around to clean and lube the Ruger SR1911, one question I have, while I have owned many 1911’s over the past 40 years, but never had one with the aluminum frame, this is my first one, does the recoil spring need replaced more often then the steel frame ones.

I find that to be a positive yes.
While most of us would not care, it portrays agression towards a citizen. If you catch my drift

filet is the seam where 2 pieces of structure come together, it increases the strength of the bond
glass goes over it sunday after its fully cured
there was a bit of loss of contact on a bulkhead to the keel, i am sure it was done in 1987 when it was built
then someone painted over it. now its structural and water tight again.
