What are you doing right now??

Taking a break from mowing the lawn. Front yard is done, it was slow going because it was wet and thick. 1 snake run over, but karma got me when I stepped onto a fire ant mound. I'll have an itchy foot a calf for the next couple of days. Now to fuel up the zero turn for the backyard. It's much larger than the front yard, and it is a jungle! Oh, and forgot to mention that I almost got the mower stuck in the front yard because there is still a lot of standing water out there. I'll have to be really careful in the backyard, as it is even wetter.

It's a nice looking butt, even if I do say so myself! Now it's wrapped and back on the smoker.

Watching another deluge roll in. Great for crops, sucks for picnics. The party will move indoors.

Hi,

Writing a good bye to the form. I has been enjoyable with a lot of great info and sharing. It's doubtful that I will be back as I have so much on my plate. As the load gets heavier I must look at the roads to travel and hopefully they will lead to my last stand. I wish all that have interacted with me to have a safe journey and that you may walk with ease. Signing out

I hope and pray all is well with you and yours. I also hope you continue to drop by now and again. I've enjoyed your company.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

You take care of yourself, you will be missed, hoping your health is ok.

Really sad to see this, we will miss you.

Hi,

I hope everyone's weekend is going great. After church today the Mrs. and I enjoyed leftover pizza for lunch. The pizza was left over from our "Pizza on the Farm" adventure yesterday. It was a very cool thing. Most, if not all, of the pizza ingredients are souced from the farm itself.

That's just half the menu. We ordered a Canivore and The Forager so that we'd have leftovers to take home. It was an excellent day for a pizza picnic.

There are a few picnic benches but most folks bring tables and chairs to sit in the shade. The guy bringing the entertainment was pretty good.

He sang pop and country. I tipped him and asked if he had a Haggard song in him. He didn't have anything prepared but he did do a Waylon song that was music to my ears. When I got back to our picnic site the pizza was there.

When your pizza was ready you'd get a text to watch for the young folks walking through the picnic area yelling your name and delivering pizza. This was some of the best pizza I've ever tried. Then we took a walk around.

I can't wait to bring the grandkids here. They can run and climb on the hay bales or play with the farm implement basketball hoops. These kids were having a blast. You can take one of the free tours of the entire farm. You can also visit one of the feeding pens and the farm store.

The kids were having a good time giving hay to the cows and petting them. We picked up a few things at the farm store, like fresh honey. And I couldn't resist....

I can never pass a face-in-the-hole without getting my picture taken. Mrs. BassCliff was not interested. We are looking forward to taking the kids and grandkids sometime soon.

It's a lazy Sunday afternoon for me. Mrs. has some laundry to do. I'll probably get my kit together for my training class tomorrow evening. Enjoy what's left of your weekend. Monday's coming fast! ;) Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Wow, we're gonna miss you please take care of yourself.

wife cooked up a bag of raviolis.....the 12 ounce size, and surprisingly, there were 24 in the bag..(they pack by weight, not the number of pieces) we each had only a few, so now we have leftovers for tomorrow night.

its been a cold damp, raw day...i did nuffin in the yard, not even tried reloading any ammo.......

sluggish day for the weather and me.......

even the wife did not want to go out, but she must have cost us about a gazillion dollars talking all day long on the phone with nearly everyone.

the 3 legged cat (Snowball) showed back up today after a couple of weeks and picked 2 ticks off of him before letting him into the house. with bobcats, coyotes and cougars around he has survived including the massive fire from 2 years ago. when he had the amputation the doc said he'll need to be an indoor cat as he can't survive outside.................well with predators including the aerial kind it's a hit and miss on cat survival outside anyways. i'm going to take him to shee the vet that stated that to us so Snowball can laugh in her face and play "i'm a survivor"

I deleted my last post because I put it in the wrong spot. Guess I wasn't paying attention. Just a sad thing to go thru. I know we don't live forever but give me a break. Like I said can't talk about my past to anyone anymore. Nobody around that was present. My wife and my Maggie are all my life now.
as stated better than i can say, we are here for you.
