What are you doing right now??

Mrs Greener and I have been together 47 years. Tomorrow is our anniversary. Looking at photo albums from our wedding, my expression can only be described as the cat that caught the canary. Four kids and nine grandkids later, fortunately for me, she has been able to overlook my many foibles, eccentricities, and shortcomings. I hit the jackpot 47 years ago and life is good. Plus, today we are going to lunch to celebrate and I am going to get a big, thick, juicy steak.
Good things happen to good people! Congratulations, friend.

Hi,

Mrs Greener and I have been together 47 years. Tomorrow is our anniversary. Looking at photo albums from our wedding, my expression can only be described as the cat that caught the canary. Four kids and nine grandkids later, fortunately for me, she has been able to overlook my many foibles, eccentricities, and shortcomings. I hit the jackpot 47 years ago and life is good. Plus, today we are going to lunch to celebrate and I am going to get a big, thick, juicy steak.

This is precious. May God continue to richly bless your union. Congratulations for choosing love, and continuing to choose it.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

The wife and I just got home from a Sam's Club run and saw this in the parking lot. I thought @Belt Fed might be in town. Then saw it had Texas plates and knew it could not be him. Plus he is not one for those artsy fartsy foreign cars. Then I realized it had to be @SimonRL, after @KillerFord1977 Texified his ride to assimilate him more into our Texas culture. You guys need to let me know when you are in town so we can go grab a drink somewhere! View attachment 112036
Been in Texas since ‘83
Thats Simons ride😉

Got my errands done. Will go next Saturday to do my 2 year shooting to keep my concealed permit in force. Seems like a waste of time and money but it's the rules. Took the wife to Lowes to get a couple of things and she couldn't understand why Maggie likes going there. I asked if she wanted a treat and all I got was a dirty look.

Been to Texas one time passing thru, got stopped in snyder Texas by a cop. i had a peace through superior firepower t shirt on and he looked at it, he made all of us get out of the bronco and started treating us like we were bank robbers. i said there is no gun in there. we was on a family vacation . it was back in the early 80's. the dipstick called for backup and then they proceeded to tear my truck apart.

Now something was smelling pretty bad and this was the time where arkysawians and texans were rivals in football in the old southwest conference. he was trying to get all friendly whilst writing me a speeding ticket after the assholes tore my truck apart and said something smells really bad. i said Yeah, smells like Texas to me. he gave me my ticket and we moved on. i probably shouldn't be caught in snyder anymore as i mailed them a money order with a pic of me giving them the number one sign.

So i took the crimson trace junk off and trash canned it, put a Holosun on and headed to the range. was a long drive. maybe 100 yards. 😁

Anyway i ran 100 rounds without a hiccup. ran good but when the suppressor got hot the rounds started flying left and all around. if i let it cool off it would go back to center. so all those flyers are from it being hot. but i shot the spinners for about 40 to 50 rounds.

Got home and cleaned it all up. is very humid outside. I also mighta been a little too far for that short barrel to get really good accuracy.
