Is there any of those (don't remember the name) deer type animals still there? I used to go there and and have fun. Lots of friends and played volleyball, Frisbee, football and whatever else we could think of. Brought plenty of water as temps were steadily over 100° easy. When Ruidoso started getting temps of 90°+ I couldn't believe it (mid 80s) as per the 15 years previous would top out (as far as I can remember) low to mid 80s. Roswell is a whole nother story..... very hot dry snd SUCKS
 
Picked up my 4 lowers (lmt mars-h), but they wouldn’t let me get the stribogs. It gad nothing to do with me as it had to do with something on their end. Looks like tomorrow then for those. For the 8" pistols, they are heavy (enter, that's what she said ;) ). FFL updated their info to GO from last purchase as it expired between purchases from the p320 45acp's. Now awaiting on the p40l abd p45l along with the kimber 10mm. Great, now I'm acquiring 1911's 🤯😱🤢

I believe they are oarnok, probably not spelled write. They were brought here from Africa and run wild out there. Now driving to Ruidoso there are deer but but Elk have taken over and they are big! If you hit one of those usually vehicle is totaled.

My mom was in the valley part (about 25-40 miles before the Downs) and a rv hit 1 and the rv was demolished. This was a bus sized rv not a van/pick-up sized. Not sure if the driver was taken to the hospital or not. It did kill the elk
