if it's getting supplied via natural gas generators that the power company doesn't own, they have to buy x amount of electricity per day, week or month. and if they don't pay the gen peeps you'll loose electricity due to the electricity company not paying their bill(s). with ng prices changing the company i get power from buys by the megawatt. if high winds are happening elsewhere it will trickle down to you having an issue and could be why they told you nothing's wrong. there's usually 3 lines that have power and all 3 are single phase. the transformer is supposed to be supportive of usage to those who are on the same transformer. not sue about neighborhoods on how it's wire and how many are on it per transformer? if there's temporary grounding or wires banging together it can cause some of these same issues

Hi,
I've had a pretty fun day. We drove up to The Little White Schoolhouse where the Republican party got its start in 1854. Interesting bit of history. Then we drove home on the back roads across lots of beautiful farmland. It was a perfect, sunny 74° today.

We are thoroughly familiar with power outages here in hurricane country. We lost power for 3 weeks following Hurricane Ivan in 2004. We installed a 40kw diesel generator with an automatic transfer switch. Diesel made sense for us due to having diesel on site for farm machinery. Never a problem sinceunless you run out of propane

Bride is trying to spray the house for bugs, being here for a long time, she knows ya gotta get out sooner than later. She came in and asked me, still in the pre-wake up stupor, if she broke the nozzle getting the sprayer out of her 4Runner.

Well, she sprayed the house and got all the spring spiders, she done kilted them all! She had a reaction to the chemical (probably a relative to agent orange) but she's doing better now. I'll have to keep a close eye on her, but I believe she's gonna be fine.

That makes a lot of sense especially if someone doesn't have ng supply. I have a ng version since we have ng our house. Farm fuel/offload fuel we also have but ng was easier for us. And the auto switch is the way to go for sure.

Couldn't have been too many replies to it, i went to bed at 11 and nobody had replied yet. someone got their feeling hurt and reported it. it was funny but oh well, i went chootin. Marlin dark series 30-30. took a bit to sight it in. was hitting up and down til i figured out how to move the sight. lol
