What are you doing right now??

Hey gang,

I'm back from playing in church today and Mrs. BassCliff provided us a nice lunch. I'm debating whether to mow the yard today since it's gonna be hotter tomorrow. I know it's supposed to be a day of rest, but I do find yardwork relaxing.

I hope all of you have enjoyed your 4th of July weekend celebrations and had the opportunity to instill some patriotism and love for this country. God bless America.

I was out like a light last night. I slept through it all. But I am a very sound sleeper. My wife told me that a few places down the road from us were shooting off fireworks until about 12:30. She decided to sit out in the living room with the dogs to keep them calm. Surprisingly, our female German Shepard who is terrified of thunder and fireworks, did very well. We do put a Thunder Shirt for dogs on her, and at least in her case, it works. It was my male German Shepard who was having issues, and has never been frightened in the past. The wife said he just kept pacing the room unless she kept petting him while in the recliner. Looks like the next trip to town will have another doggie Thunder Shirt on the shopping list.

we had a-holes shooting fire works as late as 4 AM today.....

but, i had my a/c on, didn't hear it much, except when i had to get up and pee......and NO, it wasn't my pee farts.
 
The wife had been complaining to me about never sitting down with her to watch a movie on tv with her. We have a 100 inch tv with some kind of magic box my wife got to replace Direct TV. This little box streams everything. Even Belt Fed's dirty movies. She thought I would like a movie called "Pressure", about the pre-D-Day Invasion. I actually thought it was pretty good. And it shut her up for a little while. A win-win situation.
