my neighborhood just up the street from me, has many houses that are occupied by people of spanish ancestory.

halloween decorations are still up too.

We usually get snow before Thanksgiving, sometimes before Haloween. I try to pick a couple days just beore the first snow flies to put up my Christmas lights. But then they stay up until at least February, sometimes March if it's a long, cold winter.

Things are different here in the Wild Wild Upper Midwest. In SoCal we would put up our lights the weekend after Thanksgiving when the weather was still in the 80s. They would come down somewhere around Jan 6th (Epiphany).

I've been thinking about permanent lights. Several of the neighbors have them and use different colors/patterns for different holidays, or just white for security.

Oh yeah, have a great time at the range with those other Texas boys.
