Been really busy in these parts lately. Went into the yard this morning to get ready for the delivery of the brick for our fire pit. I see this white thing and I go up to it thinking it’s a piece of paper or paper towel , but no…

Seems a coyote has been sheltering in the cedars and left a calling card 🙄. He left evidence everywhere. That seems to happen every time they plant corn in the west field.

Then later on we are walking in the backyard and hundreds (and I’m not exaggerating) of monarch butterflies swarm out of the trees, like a butterfly garden. I’m thinking they are getting ready to migrate.

I’m not sure these pics will populate properly, but they don’t do the moment justice anyway. It was really cool. I have read that they migrate long distances but I’ve never seen them by the hundreds before.

Up most of the night with my leg. Every time I go to PT it hurts for days. Thinking of stopping the PT. Very hard to deal with this pain at times. Having a cup of coffee now and putting out the huskies food. Will be in the 90's again. Nothing planned for today. Wanted to go to the range but leg took that task away again.

physical therapy just draws out the inevitable.......for me at least, an operation.

when i got hurt the 1st time back in the fall of 1999, the company doc, sent me to p/t.....that :poop: killed me more and more each time i went.

i complained to the doctor several times to send me out for x-rays and an MRI..he refused and kept sending me to p/t.

finally after like 3 weeks of killing pains, the jackazzzz sends me for an MRI, where even i don't know how to decipher an MRI picture, i could plainly see a HUGE BULGE in my disc........!!!

i went right up to his fricken face and said..."there you see, it proves i was NEVER LYING about the pains"

jackazzzz doctor said, "i didn't think you were lying, i had to *follow protocol* set by your company"

i then immediately got a lawyer, and filed a suit, got on worker's comp, got an operation, then collected about 2 years of compensation......

threatening the company (thru the lawyer) of a major payout at the end...worked wonders.

my next injury......got the lawyer the next day......no more foolish p/t for this ole boy.

Unfortunately the whole medical system is all corrupt and their greed for $$$$$$, as that is the only things that all of them care about.
To them: We the people only count to make all of them $$$$$

funny how here, we have a rather large hospital, it is known for many things, like is trauma unit, and heart (or ICU unit), and as such, nearly all the emergencies go there.

the times we have had to go there are uncountable, over the years.

the waiting room..??

is the "forget you are there room"

unless you arrive by rescue or ambulance, where you get top priority help, you are made to "wait forever" to be seen.

once in the trauma unit, even by rescue or ambulance, you still have to wait, in order of the "triage doctors", that shuffle you around.

to "wait for up to 10 hours"...is not a god damned lie.

to "wait for a room" once you were seen then admitted to the hospital, can take up to 24 hours..

again...ain't no lie....


once you finally get discharged, maybe after a week...in the hospital.......??

the BILLS arrive with-in 2 weeks.......


again...ain't no lie........

i know this for a fact, with having myself, or my wife, or any one of our 5 kids, when they were still single and living at home..

I realize everyone has different experiences. I had knee replacement surgery 15 months ago at Andrews Institute. It is where many professional athletes go for treatment of injuries. My treatment throughout was OUTSTANDING. On followup I went several days a week for physical therapy at their outpatient PT clinic. The physical therapists there helped me immensely. They are angels and I cannot say enough good things about them. I am so sorry for those of you who have not had good results, because there are some great physical therapists out there doing great work.

I've had the same experience with PT for three different surgeries. Both knees, total knee replacement surgery, and one back surgery. I went to the same place for PT for all three surgeries. I had outstanding care, and total success. I would not have had the successful recoveries without that PT.

oh, i am not saying that the p/t person helping me that very first time was lousy...

i am saying that the therapy was actually killing me...much more pain to the point of not being able to breathe

walking..?? what was that....?? sitting, sleeping, what were those, after p/t....???

the disc was so bulged out, no amount of p/t could do anything.

one doctor, another "quack" like the company doctor, said he was the ONLY doctor in my state that cuts away the bulge for relief, and leaves the remaining disk in place.

i quickly sought another surgeon, who said..."Once a bulging disk, always a bulging disk, and removal and fusion are the better route...and he was a nuerosurgeon.

that first surgeon, to me, was a quack.

once the surgery and fusion was done, it was instant relief.

i later found out in p/t after my surgery, that my doctor and 1 other (not the above mentioned quack), were the, "Rolls-Royce's" of neurosurgeons.....

i needed not have had a Yugo surgeon........
