What are you doing right now??

Hi,

As you can tell, I did not go chootin' today. I got such a late start I decided to go tomorrow. I posted memes instead.

I need to find out what's going on with the mag baseplates for my XDM Elite 10mm. None of them fit with the magwell. I guess it's time to research and order some parts. Drat. In the meantime, I'll just use the flush fit arrangement.

Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Just ordered JM Custom Kydex holster for my SA Echelon. Recently received a holster for the Echelon from Mernickle Holsters that didn't come close to fitting. Have contacted the company several times sent photos and haven't heard from them yet.
Finally heard from Mernickle Holsters. They apologized for the holster problem sent me a return label sent it back yesterday.

Today is my one year anniversary since I retired from work (I retired a couple of years early because of physical disabilities). I am also now on day 506 since I have worn any form of pants.

Up having the morning cup of coffee. Husky food ready for my girl and heart worm medication also ready. Will leave the house at 8am for my back procedure. Not looking forward to this but has to be done. Honestly, it has been agony the last few months. Even if it gives me 50% reduction in pain that would be great.
Hope it all works out for you and you get no pain.

as i mentioned more than once, i know back pains...this procedure should do you well, after the recovery time and some healing..if given therapy, do it all, not skipping any steps.

might be best too, if when you walk your dog, maybe someone else hold that leash..?? you don't want Maggie to see a "squirrel" and pull you all over the ground chasing that damned rodent......

you should do well, i wish you the best.

Going to make a run into town for a few things needed around the house. One thing is sugar. The humming birds around here have almost run us dry. I'm re-filling both feeders twice a day now. I'll be firing up the old Planet Killer for this trip. I don't think I've driven it in over two weeks. And this will give me the chance to park it up higher, on the slope of my driveway going up into the carport and garage. The weather liars are saying we are going to get a lot of rain soon, and we are under a flood watch. My house was purposely built on high ground because of flooding. Other neighbors in my area are not so lucky. Worst case, my house becomes an island, while some neighbors get flooded. We have already offered our closest neighbor, who is a widow and lives alone, the chance to park her car in our elevated driveway. It would remain high and dry there. But she always turns down the offer. One of these times she might regret not doing that. But I don't think that it will happen this time.
