I ordered a bunch of primers and a bunch of bullets. Then I took a gun to the gunsmith. (One of 4-H’s .22 revolvers is spitting lead.)

My Sig Spear LT is going to learn some new tricks thanks to an to an FRT trigger and the Frankensteinarmry TSB. Amazing how one little piece of metal can transform things.

If you don’t know the Spear’s bolt is designed differently than the AR, this piece acts as a safety. The FRT by it self in the Sig would not engage the forced reset. As the bolt closes and locks, it hits this guy. Which then forces the FRT to reset.

I bought a couple boxes of 6.8SPC…

And nearly bought a .22 can.

Starting to deep dive if I want a Hux Flow (+: super light (titanium), quieter; -: more expensive, sealed (not serviceable)) vs a Silencerco Sparrow (+: $150 cheaper, easily serviceable (unicor baffle); -: considerably heavier, louder).

Either way, I’ll likely get one in a couple weeks.

Didn't buy anything but got a call that I won another gun at a bash last night. A savage axis 243. Nothing like the 45-70 I won last week but I'm not complaining.

Looked at a kimber 45 today. Color is called ranger green. I really like it. Wheels are turning.

I really love flinters, this is a Lyman great plains rifle. i have the percussion model i bought probably 25 years ago and it was 600 bucks back then. these are excellent made guns and heavy. well this one is used but looks pretty new. when he said 200 bucks i couldn't pay him fast enough. they are over 900 bucks if you can find one. and it's not scary black
