I have multiple Walther's. I don't think they are capable of making a poor performing firearm. Their ergonomics are best in class.Considering Walther PDP Pro, I don’t recall hearing much about them here.
I would love to hear the community’s experiences and thoughts.

I’ve got several PDPs and they’re all great. I actually think the 4in PDP compact is the best of the bunch Walther offers. It is great for the range, HD, CCW and is extremely accurate. The PDPs are a little snappy, but that can be remedied. I had a PDP Pro PMM but it was extremely unreliable and took advantage of the Walther by back program. I then kluged my 4in compact slide with a 5inch compact frame, a Parker Mountain Machine flat face comp and barrel combo, a ZR tactical tungsten recoil rod and 15 lb spring and a Taylor Freelance magwell and ended up with an a home brew PDP Pro PMM that runs better than the factory gun ever did. The comp is a double chamber comp unlike the single chamber on the factory gun and there is little to no recoil.Considering Walther PDP Pro, I don’t recall hearing much about them here.

Thanks Simon I appreciate the thoughtful write-up. I’m going to check my lgs next week.I’ve got several PDPs and they’re all great. FWIW, I didn’t install the Dynamic Performance Trigger because I don’t think it’s better than the stock trigger, it just feels different. I have one on my 4 in compact.
You won’t regret the PDP Pro other than the pricey mags.

I have a PPK and a PDP Compact, and they are both perfect in my hand without any additions or upgrading. Both of them become one with my arm, if that makes sense. They both feel like they were form fit for my hand, not to say that my other pistols don't fit the bill, but Walther gets meI’ve got several PDPs and they’re all great. Holy shite dude. You realize you have a problem right ? That’s the first step.
Oh yeah, i know. had since the 70'sYou realize you have a problem right
Picked up 3 things from Cabela's: 5rd box of Fed Premium 12ga 1600fps slugs ($8.99), 10rd box of Hornady Critical Defense 8-pellet 1600fps ($18.99), and a 20rd box of PPU 7.62x54R 150gr ($27.99).Just a fun thread to see what we've all bought to feed the addiction so to speak.......
As for me, I hopefully found two Smith & Wesson magazine spacers for my M2.0 Compact, and two sets of oiled brown M1907 sling keepers from Turner Saddlery
1) I wish I had as much disposable income as you hahaOh my dude, I overspent
It all started with my wife wanting an AR, so we went shopping for an M4, then there was this orphan MCX Spear that looked so sad, couldn't resist. Then came the question "how come we have only 1 suppressor to switch between riffles?" and that went downhill from there, I've got to listen to my better half
- Colt M41A carbine
- Sig MCX Spear + Tango LPVO
- 5.56 Ti Sig Suppressor
- 7.62 Ti Sig Suppressor
And after that, had to "accessorize": Surefire light, Lancer mags, X-TAC 5.56 & 308 ammo... It never ends, and that's OK.
Still "need" a VGF, a sling and a bipod, and that should do
On a side note, I love the MCX Spear, but I feel absolutely terrible for the poor grunts who are going to have to haul this beast, it's 12lb equipped mostly as they would, plus 6x20-round 308 mags standard carry, that is insanely heavy compared to what they're used to! As awesome as the weapon is, I'm not sure that was such a great idea, especially considering the current fitness level of our military.
Had to google that...Nice.just purchased a caldwell velociradar. although i have a few on hand (not this type) it'll make testing more easy.
