Now for some good news! Back on May 27 in post #3800 I told y'all about my wife's new (about a year old, but fired infrequently) Equalizer failing to reset after several shots fired. I sent it off FedEx on the 28th, got an email 'receipt' in a couple days. I got the gun back on June 17th and went to the range on the 18th iirc. Not one failure to reset ... worked like it should. Included was a complete write-up of what was done.

Haven't been a big fan of S&W since the episode of apparent siding politically with the gov't a few years ago, but I'm beginning to change my mind. It seems to me they're trying hard to regain the confidence of the customer base they lost back then, and after this issue with the wife's Equalizer I'm inclined to give them a fair shake/opportunity.

I'm convinced S&W has always been a quality firearm in general and the issue I'm referring to was political and had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of their guns. I can accept a disagreement in politics as just that, a disagreement. It doesn't make anyone or any entity bad, just of a different opinion.

So all is well around jj's old home place for now. The bride has her EDC back and I've finished reinstalling her RDS. I gotta head out to the range now and loosen this Equalizer up just a little more with maybe another couple hundred rounds feeling confident that every shot will result in a trigger reset just like it's supposed to. Later y'all! I feel like I got real lucky with the dealings on this gun and later tonight maybe, ah, ...... well you know what I'm talking about!

I’ve been running my Prodigy a lot lately…and the more I run it, the more I like it.

So, I’ve finally ordered a DPP plate for it, and more mags…

Anyone who knows who makes a good threaded barrel for a Prodigy? Preferably 13.5x1LH…
