Hy Point?
Hy Point?
Hi,
I picked up my Glock 17L today. I was surprised, it came with three mags. I bought an extra one just 'cause. I almost bought the 33 round extended. I still might, just for grins and giggles.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
Nice! Now you need to engrave a T-800 with a Glock……Today’s haul, I won a vintage Sig556 in great condition along with PPS43 that we will SBR. Both way under cost at GB or other places, I really scored.
Sig 556 with original Sig mag (crappy quality by the way I felt Promag AR mags that are better quality) It came with a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x50 scope that I immediately removed and chucked.
This one is a Gen 2 Sig 556 has to be low round count, with some brass wear on receiver but not too bad, especially since I know someone that can refinish it. It came with a Troy brand Quad rail that was pretty damn expensive in the day.

A Pioneer Arms PPS43 in 9mm. Some slight rust but again I can refinish it. I ended up getting this for a great discount since no one else bid on it because it was “broken”. The issue was the magazine would not seat and lock in place with the bolt closed. With the bolt open the mag would lock but then the bolt would not lock into battery. Hah you could fix it by notching the magazines for the ejector, or notch the ejector for the magazines. Either way eazzy peezy. If you don’t know the ejector is actually part of the recoil assembly and is just a simple round piece that rides next to the bolt loosely. With the bolt back the ejector easily moves out of the way for the magazines. But as you close the bolt it pushes on the ejector making it run into the top of the magazine, unless you Notch the mag. That knowledge saved me hundreds.
I have a PPS parts kit and more mags on the way so we can make her an SBR which should not be too hard. Video to follow.

And last up is one of the new Advantage Arms suppressors. This thing is a beast rated for up to 338. Stainless steel, and heavy it is a beast. If you run out of ammo in the apocalypse, you can beat the zombies away with this tube. Not the fanciest suppressor out there but at 200msrp it will get the job done.

And this is just for fun, I have been taking a class learning how to run my fiber laser engraver. For this class we were doing 3D engraving. We asked AI to come up with something, my idea was the Hamburgler robbing a McDonald’s. This was the first idea it had, so I went with it. Talk about funny.
