Hi,

I needed a few more so I decided to order five cheap KCI AK magazines, steel, 30 rounds. I've heard some OK things about these and thought, for the price, why not?

Selling for $9.50, with tax and shipping they were about $13 each. I'll just throw them away if they don't work. ;)

That reminds me. I need to shave off some material at the top of my Bulgarian AK-47 mags. Those steel-lined polymer magazines are a little too thick at the top and don't load/eject as smoothly/quickly as they should. Where's my grinding wheel?

Magpul AK mags, they work
 
Ain't bought much cool stuff recently, I picked up:

-500 rounds of CCi Mini Mag 40gr for the wifes Glock 44V.
-300 rounds of CCi Blazer 115gr
-Olight PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie for the wifes 43X.
-Olight adaptor for that stupid sized rail on the 43X...
-New Wheeler Screwdriver set for the range bag...I seem to have misplaced my old set (as a retired auto tech, I'm kinda embarrassed to admit I "may" have lost tools.. 🤬)
-Got on the pre-order list @ the Glock store for the new 15rd 43x mags....for when they finally ship in the year 2034...

Still trying to find myself a 22LR plinker, I'm trying to keep it under $400 🤔, I've narrowed it down to:

FN 502 MRD
S&W M&P 22X

I've held both (at Bass Pro), but fired neither of them, the FN "feels" the best, but I do like the mag capacity on the S&W...and it doesn't feel bad in the hands either... I'm on vacation next week, I'm hoping one of the two ranges near to me have one (or both) of these on rental. 🤞
 
I picked up the last 2 Springfield 1911's that I had been eyeing. I was concerned about the Stainless 4.25 Garrison after a recent post on here, but I am happy to report that my Garrison is in excellent condition with the fit and finish I expect and this could become one of my favorite 1911's. The TRP was really a spontaneous buy after I found the PBJ version for a great price. I'm not a fan of Coyote Brown, I'd rather have FDE or evil black, but this one is really nice! I can't wait to get both to the range.
