What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Hi,

Oh, why not? It's my birthday this month so I'm treating myself. GAG has free shipping.

Freedom Munitions has free shipping as well so I ordered 500 rounds of their 10mm.

And that's about all the abuse my gig money account will take for now. Happy Birthday to me. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
Yeah I bought my 10MM (XDM Elite) over a year ago and I LOVE IT! I'm shooting Sellier & Bellot at the range (full case) and Underwood Extreme Defender for EDC.

By me! Seriously, we all have fun together and crackin on each other. It's about having fun... I hope you have fun with something, cause life is too short to be serious about everything all the time.
I do have fun often. And the first hundred or so times this was even fun(ny). But it eventually shifts from fun to moronic. And that shift was hundreds of repetitions ago. As they tell the wannabe comedians, it's time for new material, this act is beyond washed up.

I've been trying to find a Ruger P90 .45 safe princess for over a year. When I find a clean one on GB, it is usually missing the box and spare factory magazine. When I stumble onto a complete set, it is usually a mistreated, ill-maintained EDC that the seller believes to be made of gold. One of these days I'll be posting my new acquisition here........ 🫤

All you had to do is ask. I have what you are looking for, but what are you willing to pay for it? Serious inquries to my message box please!

Same with a Marlin 39a. And probably every other desirable gun. GLWY search.

i just now placed an order for 500...45 ACP 230 grain copper coated bullets.

i have maybe about 300 to 400 in stock now, so i will be good for reloaded next week when they arrive.

not only that, but a box of 1,000 (that i usually order) , of 45 ACP in 230 grain, will kill the delivery driver...damned things weigh like nearly 30 frickin pounds.....

then i gotta carry them down to the basement.......they can kill me too....!!!!!!
ok, an update to this fiasco..

when i ordered these bullets from Everglades, they were "supposed to be here" on August 31st.

they never showed up..they are still "listed" as being at the Fed Ex facility in Newark, NJ....

I had immediately emailed Everglades the day after the scheduled delivery, and someone there, NOT the owner of Everglades that i had thought however.

he "filed a claim" against FedEx.....

now today, my "replacement order"...IS ON the delivery truck, and will be here today...!!

i am tracking it.

lets see...NJ....bullets...missing......at FedEx....IN...NJ...!!!

like, why would i wonder if they were not stolen...???

that's my "gut feeling"

kudo's to Everglades to make good on this.

oh yeah, i did ask, why can't we have "other choices" for a shipper..??

guy tells me he has (or will) talk to the owners to maybe get someone else, but that might not be possible

well, i think "it is highly possible".......to not buy thru them anymore, and go thru this :poop: anymore....

like its not the first time, thefts at Fed Ex have ever happened.

my opinions on Fed Ex, and i'm sticking to it.

UPDATE:

FedEx delivered the replacement order....minutes ago.

of course, at the additional expense of Everglades.

I just sent an email to the CS at Everglades, but they already knew about the delivery.

now, to get down to reloading this week.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

this was a label on the package

"misload-29"

here is a description of that code:

A FedEx misload occurs when a package handler accidentally places your package onto the wrong delivery truck or trailer. [1, 2]
The number "29" refers to a specific system status code, data field ID, or the route/truck number where the error occurred. When this happens, a package is scanned as "Out for Delivery" because it was supposed to be on a specific truck, but it physically left the facility on a different route
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
it still shows the original package as in Newark..........

I'm glad you finally got it sorted. I should have a case of 9mm delivered tomorrow. I have been quite blessed in that none of my vendors or shippers have ever lost the goods. I don't order components. I guess cartridges by the case are too heavy to steal. ;)

Thank you for your indugence,

500 pieces of 45 ACP bullets weight 18 pounds.

i will still hold that FedEx had a theft from one of its workers......it would not be the first time.

as a side note, i will also entertain the idea, it was placed on the wrong trailer at Newark, and went to East Copeepee, USA......and "might get delivered" to me by Christmas the year of 2549
