Whatcha Watching?

Found the original "Outer Limits" om MGM+ which we subscribe to. Try to view one episode a night. There are some real classics in the series. A few nights ago saw "The Zanti Misfits" about a planet which sends it's hardened criminals to a penal colony on Earth.
 
Been on a bit of a movie binge here lately. In the last two weeks I've seen:

So I've watched a nice mix of classics and brand-new, and war movies and comedies.

Currently watching The Deer Hunter and Major Leage.

Old Dads was hilarious, as was No Hard Feelings. A Nice Girl Like You is basically a Hallmark movie with a heavy, heavy sex theme, if you can imagine. Also hilarious. :LOL:

But the best of them all was Blood and Gold. Do you miss the old-school Clint Eastwood movies? This one's for you. It's a Spaghetti Western (right down to the score) set in the closing days of WWII, if you can imagine such a thing. I think they managed to pay homage to almost every Clint Eastwood movie made before 1990, with nods to Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Enemy at the Gates, Raiders of the Lost Ark and John Wick, among others, tossed in for your amusement and amazement. It's a real treat for true movie fans and trivia freaks of all kinds. Good gun action, too!

And yes, I still own a piece of equipment that plays DVDs....

i have the box set as well, its a must watch at least once a year, then the sopranos, burn notice and fringe

Don't apologize, you're absolutely right and I own that. I call them my "guilty pleasure" movies. I'd only seen about the first half of the first Pitch Perfect when I'd walk in the room and The Lovely Mrs. Snake had it on, and I'd always kinda enjoyed what I saw. So I sat down last week and watched all of it and PP2 and really liked 'em. There are some REALLY cool and amazing moments in those movies, other parts, not so much, but hey, it's a lot of Hot Chicks singing Rockin' Tunes really well--what's not to like? ;)

A Nice Girl Like You is basically if Hallmark did a porno and it was pretty funny. Likewise, Life of the Party is basically a chick-flick mashup of Back to School and Animal House and stars the hilarious Melissa McCarthy. Again, what's not to like? ;)
