It's the device that usually on guns that lack one, they don't put light triggers with no take up. Not guns meant to be carried anyway. Would you carry a 1911 with the hammer back on the safety disengaged? IWB ?
 
Got to the range today and brought the P30L along with me and managed this with the input from the combined braintrust of The Armory Life forum. This is something I can work with. Thanks to everyone who weighed in.
