My ex did such a number on me that I've been a renter for the past 30 years. Life has been great with my current live in. I took her in 10 years ago when she was 23 and life couldn't be any better. Friends called me a perv but that wasn't entirely the attraction. I had an age appropriate relationship for 12 years prior but her ex husband was a lunatic and her kids were terrors. I kept going younger and younger until I found an age that didn't come with a ton of baggage, kids, ex's, tattoos, pin cushion pierces, etc. 10 years ago, 23 just happened to be the sweet spot.

And since she said she won't get divorced, but would be widowed instead, I can't believe any of my appendages would be safe from severance.

I sold my house when I married #3. You could fit my old house in her garage so it seemed like a good plan; not so much when we got divorced and I was looking for a place to live. At least it gave me the reason to move to the Free Zone.

I swear I can successfully plan the invasion of a small island nation; but I constantly fall prey to "I'll LOVE you forever"
