As the thread says, we all read new gun manuals. As we should.

I have found to keep complete happiness at our house I do this.

I let the wife read them and then tell me all about it!

Makes her feel real good. Oh, over the years I can tune her out
without an issue..... until she starts giving tests that is!

It is understandable that most all owners manuals are (dumbed down)
“for a lack of a better term”
So that everyone can understand the importance of what the manufacturers are required to point out regarding their products. Safety, safety, safety.

As most prior-military folks can attest to, if you're having trouble sleeping, just breakout a training manual, start reading, and soon you'll be fast asleep.

Yes, I always read the manual cover to cover. If just to know what kind of liability the manufacturer is putting on me.

I will read the manual. The manufacturer usually has different thoughts than I do about taking something apart. Especially for something new, just to familiarize myself with it.
