Will the "BIG" hammer drop today @ 2000 hrs.?

Part of me says we need to put boots on the ground in a limited capacity, but mainly we need to work with Israel to arm and train the population. Supposedly, we sent firearms to the Kurds to supply the Iranian civilians, but the Kurds kept the firearms. If we can believe anything coming out on this so far. While we do want a change in leadership there, it has to be the Iranian people who make that change, and they have to know that we will have their back in all of this. This is a chance for us to have a positive result over there, without installing a puppet regime. We can no longer be doing regime changes over there, because it has bitten us in the *** more times than we can count. We need to do what France did for us during the Revolutionary War. Arm, train, support and defend the Iranian people in their fight for freedom. Whatever government they install will be on them. As long as they understand that ANY attempt to resume nuclear enrichment for the purpose of nuclear arms will result in the same outcome. We will probably need boots on the ground anyway to secure any nuclear materials in Iran.

All aspirations of ever acquiring nuclear technology of any kind need to be forgotten by Iran. Secondarily, I read just a bit ago that Iran offered yesterday, as part of their proposed 10 point peace plan, to charge every ship transitioning the Straight of Hormuz a mere $2 million dollars which they would split with Oman. Yeah, I don’t think so…once a terrorist, always a terrorist. They either defer to the US proposals or suffer the consequences.

I do feel bad for the Iranian “civilians” that “volunteered” to form human rings around expected targets in an attempt to prevent the demise of those targets. Just what every legitimate leader asks their populace to do and yet another example of why that leadership needs to end up in a place it can never, ever, regain control again.

Forgive me as I’m not active or retired military, so I don’t understand any of the jargon.

Is the Big Hammer some kind sustained military offensive? Ground forces with heavy air and missle support?

Or is the Big Hammer some kind of low yield tactical nuclear weapon? If so, that part kinda freaks me out a little.
Just a phrase…not even necessarily military related. “Drop the hammer” generally means “to act with sudden, severe force, authority, or to impose strict punishment/discipline. It is frequently used in professional or personal contexts to describe finalizing a tough decision, enforcing rules, or accelerating performance (e.g., speeding).”

I personally don’t think any nuclear strikes, low yield, tactical, or otherwise, have even entered the conversation. There are still significant conventional weapons that have yet to be deployed.

And I’d still like to think that some leader(s) in Iran will get a clue…but I’m certainly not holding my breath.
