Wait, Illinois is a sanctuary state and Gov, Pritzger won't allow state / local law enforcement to assist the feds so what if they wanted to confiscate firearms from an un-ducumented individual?

I grew up in deep Southern Illinois. Mayor Daily and the Chicago Dem machine was running the state way back in the 50’s. I left 40 years ago and never regretted it.

Speaking from experience, you've got L.E.O.s that will blindly do whatever they're told, right, wrong, Constitutional, or UN-Constitutional.

It's the US against THEM, argument, which has evolved into "everybody is guilty of something, they just haven't been caught yet" ideology. This is usually espoused by officers who don't believe they've done thier job if the haven't arrested someone during thier duty shift.

Nothing is impossible......

History shows that a majority will almost always do what they are told to do, however heinous it may be. Castes in point-Germany in WW2; all the poor sob’s living in North Korea today being subject to their own soldiers/guards. Etc. Remember the gualags, the guards did exactly what they’re told, against their own people.

You bet your sweet bippy they will! And, the "special teams" will SWAT their brother officers and confiscate theirs. It won't matter if you live in Texas or New York. There are always enough brown nosers everywhere.
