Yeah…

Seriously, they’re a machine.

And when you look at what other metal strikers are running—Q4’s at $1200+…I think I saw the new steel PDP is at $1800…metal framed M&P well north of $1100…I’ll take a 1911-esque straight press trigger over hinged any time.

The local Armscor outlet store hasn't been able to get any 5.0s in to check out so I'm loosing interest in it now.

It's been 2-3 yrs . since the 5.0 came out, so I think if a manufacturer comes out with something and it's MIA for several years then something is haywire with it.

Both my Gold Cups were disappointments.

Colt's QC went down the tubes in the late 80's & both mine were rattle-traps.

That's when I discovered a friend's SA 1911 and it was much better (back then) so I got rid of the Gold Cups & got my first SA1911.

Hopefully, Colt Gold Cups are better today.

My experience with the Colt Gold Cups was 35 yrs ago so hopefully, the new Colt is building better guns.
