Saint Victor 5.56 - Need Adjustable Gas Block Recommendations (Newbie)

Hi everyone,

I've got a Saint Victor 5.56 that's running pretty overgassed with my OCL Polonium 30 suppressor. Getting a lot of gas blowback to the face and harsh recoil that I'd like to try tame down. I pretty much shoot suppressed 100% of the time.

I'm pretty new to AR modifications and looking to swap to an adjustable gas block to tune it properly. What exactly do I need for this conversion? Tools, parts, etc? Any specific product recommendations or tools would be very appreciated.

Also wondering if there are any Saint Victor specific things I should know about before diving in, or if this is something I should take to a gunsmith instead of attempting myself. The most I have done is changing muzzle devices.

Any help or guidance would be really appreciated - thanks!

SLR offers several. Replace your gas tube for your gas-system length.

I'm glad you asked this. I'm pretty new to my Saint Victor too. It's a sweet rifle but I have a lot to learn. Good to have you here.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Thanks @Talyn - this is very helpful. Appreciate the link. Would you happen to know if I need the clamp on style, or the one with the set screw? (Sorry, again, I am super new!!)
@BlueBirdSpring333

I don't know what type that SA uses on their ARs.

You can tell if you take off you handguard and see what they have on your rifle. It's pretty obvious between the two types.

Either should work on your rifle.
