Good time at the range today. All cleaned and ready to go. Cut backyard grass and put down some fertilizer to help it along. All my chores are done for today. Maggie and I went for another walk.

Well, the garage visit wasn’t nearly as spendy as they first predicted, and that’s not a bad thing. Went to the range, but it was closed…not one single vehicle in the lot . Turns out both ranges were closed for deleading. Apparently I did not get the memo…so I’m currently at Texas Roadhouse in Fargo for an early dinner before the drive home.

So sad to hear this. Not a good day when this happens. Ruby is at peace now and hopefully memories of her will get you thru this rough time. Sorry for your loss.

Just made a solo trip to the range with the new 226 XCarry Legion (2 lower targets) 10yds and the 2K11 (head) 20 yds. Took me a moment to get used to the trigger on the 226, but found my way. Finished up with a tidy little group of rapid double taps (very bottom). The 2K11 is a fantastic gun. If you can hold it half way steady, t will do the rest. Glad I got it in .45.

Knew my ears were burnin for some reason, but i'll have ya'll know all that blowin wore me out. kept blowin me false teeth out and having to get down and back up there again. all that ladder climbin will wear on ya.
