EGW Guide Rod for Prodigy

So is there a trick to using the stock/OEM guide rod when reassembling or just spend the money and purchase the EGW that take the L shaped takedown tool? Also with the new revers plug sliding on the bottom of the barrel, and change in accuracy?

Yeah no issues with disassembly just hate fussing with the spring when putting her back together. That’s why I was curious about the EGW. I’m tired of loosing gun money to the curse jar dealing with the spring

I have a Kimber Micro 9 Rapide I understand lol.

Have one of the first SA Prodigy guns, still have the original guide rod. It's a PITA, but it works and haven't had any issues with it

Get the Dawson Precision tool-less guide rod. The OEM GR sucks.

That’s why I was curious about the fit of the reverse / filler plug contact to the underside of the barrel and any issues.
