Update the holster is from North Carolina and it's Nelson holster. Mr Nelson and his wife worked on my holster and it was a Christmas present 11 years ago.

Was three ATF agents there looking at all their paperwork, course the owner has to mess with me when i walk in by saying rick, did you finally finish making that gun full auto? or to something in that effect. i laughed and said yep, she runs good too. two guys and a huge woman, the guys laughed. she didn't, gave me a bad look.
i ask the owner on the other side of his store if i could say Hey Porky try smiling a little. he said knock yerself out. i said i know she can't catch me. lol any way the owner ask about the tax stamp is it for SBR's too. he said yes but there is a lawsuit or something filed and he said it probably be two years for it's all settled. now that's what he said. so if yer waitin on a free stamp it might be a while.

I'm having back surgery done on the 29th of this month. It will require a home health care nurse to come around a few times to change my dressings and to check up on me to see if all is going well. My wife called me during her lunch hour and was trying to decide which home health care company to pick for my post op needs. She was going into detail about each company, and I was getting annoyed by the whole conversation, so I told her to just pick one, I don't care which one. A little later she texted me a picture of the nurse she picked to come around and take care of me! lol I texted back that I'll pass on the sponge bath package deal.

It's got a skinny small trigger that is sharp on the end. kinda like an M1 except worse. the heavy recoil makes it dig in the finger. only shot it 6 times to see if it fed and functioned. it did but it needs something done with that trigger.

Low key day. Was very grey and misty all day so I just hung out at home. Did some chores, did some dry fire stuff. Was here when FedEx delivered the ammo they were supposed to leave yesterday. I got home yesterday and found one of their door tags on the front door...nothing checked off or anything. The husband bought a bunch of ammo from Cabela's, but he bought it in small orders to gain points and entries in some sort of sweepstakes thing.
Anyway, FedEx had no problem abandoning two boxes of said ammo on my doorstep two days ago, but now all of a sudden it's "Hazardous Material" and needs a signature
. Needless to say, the husband called them and tore someone a new anal orifice...and six more boxes magically appeared this afternoon. I truly don't believe that FedEx will ever get their collective poop in a group, so to speak. Any ammo I have ordered has come via UPS and I haven't had any issues.
Since I didn't go anywhere today, I want to hit the range tomorrow morning. Not too keen on weekends at the range, but they are a whole lot stricter at this range than at the one I belonged to before, and they don't put up with dumbassery.
Right now I am enjoying a glass of black chokeberry wine and looking for something mind numbing to watch on the tube.

I thought about tossing a couple of pebbles at your widow to get your attention.
We actually crossed the river to stay in Red Wing, get some fish fry, and let the Mrs. see the pottery factory in the morning. Tomorrow on the way home we are going to see the world's biggest potato masher. That should be unforgettable.
