To compete with the Sig 365 .380???
If the guns are the same size and weight, I'm at a loss as to what the point is?

Not identical size and weight. Less felt recoil.

What is the difference in size and weight? I can't seem to find that even on SA's website. Not identical size and weight. Less felt recoil.
I would like to buy a LCP Custom but can't seem to find one even on Gun Broker.
And "lasers" apparently
Browning 1911 in .380I've lost count of the times I've tried a micro compact thinking, "This is the one!" including the original Hellcat. All of them are sold. But there is still a part of me that yearns for a small pistol I can carry in the summer that "disappears" under a t-shirt. That said, I've just bought the Echelon 4.0c Comp and I can comfortably EDC that beautiful pistol with an optic mounted under a loose, untucked button down. Maybe if I get a chance to shoot the Hellcat .380 between now and next summer, I'll think about it - assuming it runs as well as this review presents. Until then, it's big gun season anyway, so I'm not going to be Charlie Brown just yet...

Big shorts!Browning 1911 in .380. Fits in my shorts pocket with a T shirt on View attachment 95791
Saw it on a few Utube reviews. They compared the two (9mm vs 380). The 380 was like 1 1/2 oz lighter, the slide is slightly narrower, the grip is smaller from front to rear. What is the difference in size and weight? I can't seem to find that even on SA's website.![]()

It's new, prices will come down some with time.I was interested up until I saw that it is over $600 in the gun shops. Way too much $$$. It does look goo though.

One thing many Hellcat owners overlook, though, is carrying a spare magazine. Magazines are the most common failure point in a semi-auto pistol — and having a backup on hand can make all the difference in a critical situation. That’s where the ExtraCarry.com Mag Pouch comes in.
I use an ExtraCarry pouch to carry a spare mag right in my pocket. It locks in place with a patent-pending clip, looks just like a pocketknife, and completely conceals your magazine while keeping it clean, secure, and ready for a fast reload.
The great news for Hellcat 380 owners: ExtraCarry just released a mag pouch specifically for the Springfield Hellcat 380 (13-round mag). It’s the same deep-concealment solution trusted by thousands of EDC carriers, now perfectly fitted for the new Hellcat variant.
