Bought a Ruger 10-22 with scope so the three 10yo grandsons can plink plink plink on the range. Good times!
Starting a GREAT tradition with those three boys. In today's world, young men need strong masculine reinforcement. It will help them to become great and respectful husbands as well as great fathers for their own children.
My father gave me my first shotgun for my 9th birthday. I was on top of the world. The lesson in responsibility did not stop with the gun. I cherish every moment we spent together in and out of the woods.

Thats awesome! I shot most of the guns in my dad’s collection and they are all in the family still. I bought my own first gun. Mossberg 12 gauge at Walmart. Still got it and have used it many times shooting clays.

I also want to say, "Hey, howdy, hey!" and welcome you to the forum. I can't wait to help teach my granddaughters how to shoot. Their Dad is a former Marine so I'm waiting until he says they are old enough.

To get back on topic, I have now saved up enough gig money for my next addition. It will probably be something in the .357 variety, 686 Plus or Henry lever. I haven't decided.

Or maybe a GP100.

I'll make a decision soon.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Can't go wrong with any of them but it's GP100 or Henry for me. I'm tossing between .22lr and .327 Henry though.

ok, got the G-19 earlier, came home, wiped it down, and lightly lubed it, as you know Glock uses that "copper" lube, so i did not want to wipe that off.

all i did was remove the light weight RSA and install the heavy tungsten one, the slide take down lever, actually was not hard to grab hold of to replace it with the extended one...

going to the club early sunday morning, gonna shoot 9mm reloads, 9mm new Federal, and 10 HST hollow points.

also, going to shoot my hellcat for comparison, and will post all targets in the "good day at the range" thread.

tell you what too, even though i too have smallish hands..?? i can fully grip this gun, unlike my Hellcat, where i have to use the "pinky extensions" on the magazines for better grip.
