i'm just under 2 months away from 60......where in south Texas are you?.......i get that direction from time to time due to my daughter being in college and my oldest son that might be starting on his masters in the spring at the same college his sister's at (same place he graduated from)
 
Hello from New Jersey(I know)...I'm over 50 but a relative newcomer to firearms, having acquired my first one last summer. I have since fallen in love and now have 1 Home Defense handgun, 1 EDC, an AR-style rifle, and a shotgun. I suppose I don't have a specific brand loyalty, as all four are different manufacturers, but names everyone would recognize. Mossberg, DD, Glock, and Springfield Armory.

Hello everyone from France. I'm 45 years old and have been practicing sport shooting for a few years, as well as for work (I'm a police officer).

I joined this forum because I recently bought an XDM Elite Compact OSP in .45 ACP, which works really well. I'm also looking at the Kuna, but it's not yet available in our country.
Regarding the XDM, I'm looking for the adapter plate 2 to mount an RMS-C red dot sight...if anyone has one in stock, I'd be very grateful, as it's unfortunately unavailable here in France, and I can't order it from the Springfield Armory website...probably due to my location.
