What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Byrna CO2. Not a firearm. Concealable in 50 states, apparently.

You should double check that. https://byrna.com/pages/restrictions

Some states don't allow the launcher, some don't allow pepper balls, etc.

Why this vs. a handgun?
Because they hurt and it's not illegal to conceal.

You're right. California does not allow shipment of chemical irritants. Other states don't also.

And, yeah, the Byrna is probably bigger than my Hellcat. I know it's bigger than my wife's mini-revolver. Maybe it won't make a hole as big as my .44mag, either.

In America, you could probably discharge an actual firearm and not go to jail. But not in California. Right or wrong, you're automatically going for a ride. A guy breaks into your car and you can't shoot him. With a firearm, anyway. But i can shoot this farther than i can throw a knife. And i can use it before i let the dog go.

Got a care package from HBIndustries

Ordered a Kuna Barrel nut tool, which is much nicer than my version that I hacked together. (Goldish metal thing)

And then I upgraded my stock to the HBI Kuna UCS stock. It gets rid of the polymer picatinny plate, with a metal adapter specifically for the Magpul stock.
